For helping us to help others. Abuse happens to women from all walks of life, and it is everyone’s concern. With your generous support, you are shining a light on this important issue and helping to end the cycle of violence against women – a cause that you can really feel good about.

Here at Iris Kirby House, we will continue to:

• Work in partnership with other community agencies
• Provide safe shelter

The community is very supportive of the work we do. We have come to rely on this community support to assist us in offering invaluable programs and services to the women and children that need our help. Without your support, most of the work we do would never be possible.

What You Can Do

• Direct donations (tax deductible and official receipts will be issued for monetary donation – see “Donate” section above).
• Plan fundraising events to benefit Iris Kirby House (e.g. pay to wear jeans at work, golf tournaments, ticket sales, etc.). If you would like to fundraise on behalf of Iris Kirby House, please complete and submit the Authorization Form
• Spread some holiday cheer and Adopt-a-Family at Christmas.
• Volunteer – Iris Kirby House is always looking for energetic and caring individuals to lend their time, skills and heart to helping victims of abuse achieve a better life. Contact us to see how you can help.

Non-Monetary Donations

Please note that due to storage space, we cannot directly accept furniture or large household items. If you have such items you may call us, and if a woman is moving out and in need of your donation, the woman will arrange for pick-up from you directly.
