The shelter provides housing and support services to 100’s of women and children each year.

Sept. 2010Due to the tremendous demand for these services, Iris Kirby House’s sister shelter, O’Shaughnessy House, opened in Carbonear in September 2010.

Together, both of these shelters are helping women and children to escape abusive homes and build a better tomorrow.
